Westmoreland Schools receive donation from Chesapeake Chorale
Last week, Westmoreland County Public Schools was expecting a visitor who, unfortunately, had other places to be. Although scheduling conflicts kept Dr. Cheryl Davis from attending the School Board meeting, she still found time to speak with Superintendent Kathy Rice, introduce her to the Chesapeake Chorale, and provide donations to the schools.
King George considering wide range of fee hikes
Residents and developers in King George County could soon see a wide-ranging set of fee increases. This month, county staff presented a proposed overhaul of the county’s fee schedule to the Board of Supervisors, which approved advancing the proposals to a public hearing.
