VA Declaration of Rights added to annual reading event at Christ Church
Last week, members of the community gathered at Historic Christ Church in Weems— some to read and some to hear—the text of two founding documents: the Declaration of Independence and the Virginia Declaration of Rights, both of which marked their 250th anniversary this year.
