A major youth sporting event is headed to Lancaster this summer—Dream Fields will host the 2026 Junior Baseball State Tournament beginning July 9, bringing teams and visitors from across Virginia.

Last week, King George Sheriff’s Office and guests participated in the Virginia Special Olympics Torch Run and Feet Meet event.

Richmond County Public Schools hosted its 5th Annual Feet Meet, a Special Olympics event that paired student volunteers with students with special needs for a day of athletic competition.
