Fisher

Judith May Napier Fisher, 79 of Heathsville, VA passed away on April 12, 2026. She was born on November 8, 1946, to Reid and Charlotte Napier. She grew up in Kinsale and was raised by her grandparents Harry Castleman and Annie Mariah Moss. She attended Montross High School.

Judy married James Albert Fisher of Lottsburg, VA on September 1, 1964. She was a school bus driver for Northumberland County schools for over 30 years. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Callao, VA for over 50 years.

Along with her parents and grandparents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband James and her brother Reid Napier, Jr. She is survived by her children, Roxanne Mariah Fisher of Kilmarnock, VA, James Castleman Fisher of Mechanicsville, VA, Robin Fisher Mitchell (son-in-law Stan) of Foneswood, VA, and Elizabeth Samantha Jo “Betsy” Fisher of Heathsville, VA; and her granddaughter, Emily Marie Fisher.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Bethany Baptist Church in Callao. Interment took place following the service in the church cemetery.
