KPD Calling for Help With Hit‑and‑Run Case

On Monday, the Kilmarnock Police Department issued a call to the public for assistance in identifying a pickup truck and its driver who were allegedly involved in a hit‑and‑run at Dairy Queen in Kilmarnock on Thursday, August 6 at approximately 7:45 p.m.

Northern Neck Added to Drought Disaster

The USDA authorized drought disaster des‑ignations for another 40 Virginia localities, including counties across the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula. The move unlocks access for producers to apply for emergency loans.
