With new legislation from the 2026 General Assembly supporting the use of wearable electronic devices to improve school safety, Richmond County Public Schools is planning to use technology that could offer benefits including reporting emergencies quicker and providing better information on incident locations, according to assistant superintendent Jason Strong.
