On August 17, the Westmoreland County School Board held a presentation on, and sub‑sequently approved, a new crisis management plan presented to them by Christopher Evans, the division’s director of technology, and Tom Kaski, the division’s technology coordinator. These plans are drawn up on a year‑by‑year basis and have to be approved by the School Board and certified by the Superintendent before the end of August.
