Eagles football

Last week saw the Westmoreland Eagles catch a win on Thursday night at their homecoming game in a 42–6 rout. This marks the Eagles’ first win of the season as they continue the rebuild that started last year.

Last week’s game of Thursday night high school football at Westmoreland ended in defeat for the Eagles as the King William Cavaliers rode them down in a 38–16 slugfest. It was another bitter pill to swallow for Westmoreland, though the head coach for King William noted that it seemed Westmoreland had given a much better performance compared to last year, despite the similar score.
