KING GEORGE VOTES AGAINST REPEALING SELLER’S DISCOUNT

Coffee roastery gets conditional use permit in Colonial Beach
At last week’s Town Council meeting in Colonial Beach, a public hearing was held on whether to grant Robert Busick Jr., a town property owner for the past 25 years, a conditional use permit that would allow the construction of a coffee roastery and coffee bar on a property located at the intersection of Wilder Avenue and Washington Street. The location used to be Margaritas Restaurant.

Richmond County approves new business for old Sanders Tire shop
Last month, the Richmond County Board of Supervisors approved a special exception permit allowing #1 Towing & Repair to operate from the former Sanders Tire building in Warsaw, a move some hope will return the long vacant property to productive use.
