Bay Aging Earns National Achievement Award
Bay Aging received a 2026 Aging Achievement Award from USAging for its “Beyond Caregiver Support: Integrating Social Care With Health Care” program.
Colonial Beach Recognizes Half Decade of Public Works Service
Last week, the Colonial Beach Town Council offered a round of thanks to a member of the Public Works Department, Mr. Michael Welden, who has been on board for the last five years. While he was not in attendance for the presentation, that did not stop Mayor Robin Schick from singing the man’s praises.
VACo Presents Lancaster’s Achievement Award
In May, Lancaster was announced as one of the recipients of the 2026 Achievement Award from the Virginia Association of Counties (VACo) for the Windmill Point County Maritime Recreational Campus. Last week, Katie Boyle, Deputy Director of VACo, came to the Lancaster County Board of Supervisors meeting to present that award.
