Virginia State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that shut down both sides of Route 3, Mary Ball Road, Saturday night in Lancaster County.

The crash occurred around 8:44 p.m. on March 21 near Good Luck Road, according to Virginia State Police.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a Jeep and a Honda Odyssey collided, VSP reported.

The Odyssey was in the middle of the eastbound side of the roadway. The Jeep ran into the woods on the westbound side. First responders at the scene were observed recovering one individual from the wooded area on a stretcher. Both drivers were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, VSP reported.

No passengers were reported in either vehicle.

As of Monday, the crash remains under investigation with no charges reported at that time.
