Northumberland County’s 2026 Spring Household Hazardous & Electronic Waste (HHW) collection will take place at the Middle School Bus parking lot off Route 360 in Heathsville on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 8 a.m.12 p.m.

Northumberland County residents and property owners are asked to bring old household chemicals such as oil-based paint, cleaners, solvents, old or used petroleum products (including mower and boat gas), pool chemicals, pesticides and spent fluorescent and CFL bulbs, and electronics to the event.

Residents should not bring ammunition, radioactive materials, tires, medical waste, or prescription drugs.

The collection is limited to Northumberland County residents and property owners only.
