Dear Editor: For all my Virginia friends, neighbors, and family who are on the fence about voting for the redistricting referendum, here’s your choice: If you are satisfied with the job the Trump Administration is doing running our country, particularly with the price of gas, the cost of groceries, and the fact we are at war, vote no on April 21.

If you are worried about any of the Trump Administration’s actions and think they should be held accountable, vote YES.

If you are holding onto the idea that gerrymandering is distasteful politics, ask yourself if it is more distasteful than detention camps, ICE terrorizing neighborhoods, illegal tariffs, protecting pedophiles, and bombing schools in Iran.

Voting yes is not for the faint of heart, but it is for patriots who believe America can do better. The chaos has got to stop. -Cyanne Yates, Tappahannock
