Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury is offering several free Parkinson’s support groups that are open to the community at RWC Auditorium/ Life Enrichment Center, 132 Lancaster Dr., Irvington, VA including: – Parkinson’s Support Group – 1:15 p.m. on the first Monday of each month – Fit to Move exercise class – 11 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays – Care Partners Group – 11 a.m. on the first Monday of each month Bon Secours Rappahannock General Hospital is sponsoring a cancer support group. Northumberland Public Library hosts a High School Book Club for grades 9 – 12 on the first Friday of every month. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided. Runs from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Northumberland Public Library will hold “Story Time at the Library’’ every Tuesday at 10 a.m. This event is for all ages and includes stories, a craft, songs and more. No sign up required for this free program.

Richmond County Public Library hosts preschool storytime at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays in the Children’s Room. Reading, crafts, new friends. Charity, Fundraisers & Volunteering

The Haven needs volunteers to provide kid-friendly dinners for the children’s group on Wednesdays, including enough food for 6 adults and 9 children. Food is needed, preferably in disposable pans, by 4 p.m. at 102 Walnut Street Warsaw, VA 22572. No sign up necessary. Don’t be a victim of scams. Be crime smart. Westmoreland County Triad meets every third Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the offices of the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office, 111 Polk Street, Montross (adjacent to the Westmoreland County Courthouse). All are welcome.
