The coronavirus caused the cancellation of the spring high school sports schedule with terrible results for many senior athletes. The cost was “what might have been” both personally and school wise. Now the same health concerns have caused the cancellation of Northumberland’s Prime Tyme Summer Basketball Camp.
Because of the uncertainty, no definite dates had been announced according to Camp Director Michael Stevenson. The probable dates were the week after the fourth of July but that’s out the window for the 2020 year. “What might have been” for the 2020 spring high school sports season is gone. Now it appears the health issues will impact the future of many Northern Neck youths.
