Matthew Wayne Bailey, age 61, passed away after a brave battle with cancer, on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at home, in the loving care of his identical brother, Mark. He was an Upholsterer at Banes Upholstery in Callao, after having learned the art of upholstery at the age of 16. Matthew was a talented oil and acrylic painter and created amazing paintings on saw blades. In his spare time, Matthew enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
Matthew is survived by a son, Dustin Matthew Bailey (Katie); grandson, Jameson Bailey; his beloved identical twin, Mark Thomas Bailey; siblings, Clifford Bailey, Craig Bailey, Laurie Banes, Helen Banes, David Banes, and Donald Banes; his beloved nephew, Mark Alexander Coates; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
Matthew is preceded in death by his parents, James Edward Banes and Barbara Jean Burgess Banes, and John Thomas Bailey; and two brothers, Butch Banes, and Daniel Banes.
A private family service will be held.
