St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Thrift Shop has been open since June of this year and business has been thriving. The church members and workers of the endeavor are taking a moment to not only thank the community for the warm welcome, but also to introduce the store to others. This Saturday, August 15, the thrift shop will host a Grand Opening Sale-a-bration. The store will be open from 9 am to 3 pm with special sales occurring all day long. From 11 am to 1 pm, they will be serving free hot dogs and chips.

During this grand opening, clothing will be 50% off and special sidewalk sales will be taking place throughout the day. According to Senior Warden  Brent Jones, the grand opening is meant to not only be a formal introduction of the shop to the community, but also to thank the community for welcoming the endeavor with open arms. According to Jones, business has been brisk and the donations keep flowing in.
