First photo: On Day 1 of their school year, Brianna Kelly (L) and her brother Travis work on an assignment assisted by BGCNN staff member Bethany Griffith. Each child has their own school-supplied laptop, a box to hold their personal supplies, and a permanent seat at a table at least six feet distant from their neighbor.  To date, 17 children, ages 6 to 9 are registered to attend school at Dream Fields’ Hayden Building, one of two club program sites in Lancaster County.  Both sites are open daily from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm; all members receive three meals and a snack each day. Registration is ongoing, on a first-come, first-served basis.  Registration fees and session sign-ups must be completed at bgcnn.org/fall 2020 or by phone at 804-435-9696.

Second photo: At the Club’s Activity Center on Main Street in Kilmarnock, Caleb Cook, 12, studies at his own table where staff are on hand to conduct daily symptom and temperature checks, carry out sanitation procedures, assist with assignments as needed, and provide club-based healthy lifestyle activities.
