Blue Daisy Farm Visits Pre-K at WDES

A breath of spring was celebrated as the WDES pre-K classes petted farm animals on Friday, April 16. Owner of the Blue Daisy Farm, Ms. Katie Hutt, a Pre-K teacher at Washington District Elementary School, brought several baby goats, chickens and a rooster from her farm to greet the students on a crisp spring morning. The students enthusiastically petted the animals and learned about their products, especially chicken eggs. It was hard to tell who was more excited, the teachers or the students. The animals remained calm throughout their visit.
