As Christmas draws ever closer, it’s a time-honored tradition for people and businesses to decorate their homes, lawns, and storefronts. Some with lights, others with signs, and plenty more with some wild combination. In many cases, it’s a great deal of fun to just go driving around a town at night enjoying the lights people have put in place. In Montross, it has been a long-running tradition for Montross Town Council to judge these decorations.

As usual, the plan is for one member of town council to take some out-of-towners through Montross, taking a look at the decorations as they go. In this case, Mayor Terry Cosgrove was selected.
