PUBLIC NOTICE

The Westmoreland County Board of Zoning Appeals
will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 22,
2021 in the public meeting room at the front entrance of
the George D. English, Sr. Memorial Building, 111 Polk
Street, Montross, Virginia starting at 9:00 a.m. on the following variance applications:
CASE# 2102- V - 01 - Mark Hood 25577 Quits Pond
Ct South Riding VA 20152, Agent Bayshore Design LLC
9 Steamboat Landing Kinsale Va 22488 requests a variance for a covered boatslip and related construction. This
project is located at 1151 Bancton Rd Kinsale Va Tax Map
55A-20.Cople Magisterial District.
CASE# 2102- V-02- Gerald Watson PO Box 29 Coles
Point VA 22442 requests a variance for a well and related
construction. This project is located at Travelers Rest Road
Hague VA. Cople Magisterial District. Tax Map 39B-6-26.

be accessible to the public via livestream on social media.

Citizens wishing to comment are asked to submit written comments to be accepted as part of the public record.
Comments may be submitted via electronic mail: Landuse@westmoreland-county.org. Comments may
also be submitted by mail to: Beth McDowell, Land Use
Administrator, PO Box 1000, Montross, VA 22520. Additionally, written comments may be placed in the Treasurer’s
Office dropbox on the rear of the George D. English, Sr.
Memorial Building at 111 Polk Street, Montross, VA 22520
and should be in a sealed envelope which is clearly marked
“Land Use Administration.” Submissions of written comments must include the citizen’s name and address. All
comments must be received by close of business on Friday, February 19, 2021.
Copies of the applications and other information are available for public review upon request. Please contact the
Land Use Office at 804-493-0120 to obtain copies.
Individuals needing special accommodations should contact the Land Use Administration office ten (10) days prior
to the hearing.
