TAX RELIEF FOR THE
ELDERLY and DISABLED
Elderly or disabled persons may be eligible for real estate tax
exemption if they are 65 years old or older or are permanently
disabled and meet financial criteria established by local ordinance. Application must be made with the Commissioner of
the Revenue between FEBRUARY 1 and APRIL 1 of EACH year.
