The Westmoreland County Planning Commission
will hold a public hearing regarding the following special
exception applications on April 5, 2021 in the George
D. English, Sr. Memorial Building, 111 Polk Street, Montross, Virginia starting at 1:30 p.m. The Westmoreland
County Board of Supervisors will also hold a public
meeting on Monday, April 12, 2021 in the George D.
English, Sr. Memorial Building, 111 Polk Street, Montross, Virginia starting at 6:30 p.m. on the following special exceptions:
CASE # 2103-SE-01 – Request by Laura Medina &
Sonia Lopez 437 Plainview Rd Kinsale VA 22488 for a
tourist home for short term rental.This project is located
at 437 Plainview Rd. Kinsale VA. Tax Map 56A-1-29&30
Cople Magisterial District
CASE # 2102-MSE-01 – Request by Smith Bros.
Dragway (Larry Thompson), 3018 M Place SE, Washington, DC 20019 and Ray Ramsey (agent), 3510 Grove
Lane, Rocky Mount, NC, 27804 for a noise waiver and
a special event to be held at the “Colonial Beach Dragstrip” on June 6, 2021, or June 12, 2021 from 10 am to
10 pm including musical entertainment and a car/bike
show. Rain date is June 13, 2021 & Alternate date July
3, 2021 or July 4, 2021. The property is located at 2035
James Monroe Highway Tax Map 5-49A &54, Washington Magisterial District.

Citizens wishing to comment are asked to submit written comments to be accepted as part of the public record. Comments may be submitted via electronic mail: Comments may

Administrator, PO Box 1000, Montross, VA 22520. Additionally, written comments may be placed in the Treasurer’s Office dropbox on the rear of the George D. English, Sr. Memorial Building at 111 Polk Street, Montross,
VA 22520 and should be in a sealed envelope which is
clearly marked “Land Use Administration”, due by Friday
April 2, 2021.
Individuals needing special accommodations should
contact the Land Use Administration office ten (10) days
prior to the hearing.

available for public review upon request.
