Life Support (A, I, or P)
Richmond County Board of Supervisors is seeking a
qualified individual for the full-time position of EMTI/P. The successful applicant will be employed by the
Richmond County Department of Emergency Services.
Position: Emergency Medical Technician – Advanced
Life Support (EMT-I or P) is a full-time position that
consists of approximately 9, twenty-four hour shifts per
month working a set, rotating schedule.
Qualifications: Applicants must be certified at the EMTA, EMT-I or EMT-P level or be completing a current Advanced Life Support program. EMT-Basic’s willing to
advance their certification to ALS can also apply. The
department offers paid tuition for ALS classes with a
standard education contract. Current ACLS, PALS, and
CPR, EVOC class 2 or higher, Pro-Board Certified FF1,
Haz-mat operations and awareness, and Vehicle Extrication operations and awareness.
Salary: Salary will be determined according to experience and proven ability to perform required functions of
the position. A full-time position provides County benefits to include paid State recognized holidays, health
